Now we're done with our second drum session. It took us 3 more days to finish the last tracks and Rasmus got them down really well. We might add some percussions and drums later but we'll see...
So there are 10 drum tracks done and the next step is to get some killer bass tracks done. We've been rehearsing out new songs and I have a good feeling about this. Tomorrow we will play a gig nearby Jyväskylä and on Sunday we will pack up our stuff and head for a cabin in the middle of woods. We will work thee for couple of days and hopefully we will come back with some bass on tape. We have found it awesome that we have locations that we can go to and record. Locations that are in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing but music and good feeling there.
We are going to try something new during our bass recordings this time. We'll record very good and solid di-signal and Re-amp them later. We'll see how it works.

Toinenkin rumpusessio on paukuteltu kasaan ja Rasmus latoi kolmen päivän aikana loput biisit narulle, ja hyvin latoikin!Jotain rumpuja ja lyömäsoittimia lisäillään ehkä myöhemmin.
Eli kymmenen biisin rummut odottaa tällä hetkellä muita instrumenttejä. Seuraavaksi on tarkoitus soittaa bassoja ja treenien perusteella odottelen tosi innolla alkavia äänityssessioita. Huomenna (tai siis tänään) soitamme keikan tässä Jyväskylän lähiseudulla ja sunnuntaina pakkaillaan kamat ja painutaan keskelle metsää jatkamaan uuden levyn työstämistä.LEvyn äänitysten edetessä olemme huomanneet että on itseasiassa todella hienoa päästä tekemään hommia paikkoihin joissa voimme keskittyä vain musiikkiin ja hyvään fiilikseen. Paikkoihin joita ei ympäröi betoniseinät ja kaupunkimiljöö. Ollaan keskellä ei-mitään ja nautitaan musasta.
Näissä bassosessioissa kokeillaan jotain meille uutta.. Äänitämme hyvän ja tiukan DI-signaalin ja sitten "re-amping" henkisesti äänitämme vahvistimet myöhemmin.
Kevät taittuu kesäksi... kaikki heräilee henkiin.
